Designed for Mediterranean climate
Type plans for the eight family homes located in a residential estate were drawn up with consideration to the expectations of elderly British and Russian customers who intend to retire to Cyprus. In terms of style, the three-bedroom houses are modern and refined. As part of the design process, we had to tackle the challenge posed by the climate of Larnaca, a popular holiday destination in Cyprus: to counter the summer sun that often scorches with temperatures in excess of 40 degrees Celsius, all glass surfaces exposed to sunlight were fitted with external shades, which became a distinctive element of the visual design.
