Home in the Ten-Acre Wood
A young couple trusted us with designing their home on a plot near the woods of Szada. Private spaces – living room and bedrooms – of the building overlook the internal terrace and the garden with larger windows, while the house presents a more robust mass toward the street. Due to the slightly sloped plot, the surface of the entrance-side façade is somewhat raised, sitting on a footing cladded with natural flagstone. Meanwhile, the back terrace and the bedrooms are in level with the garden, thus creating a tight connection with outdoor spaces.
